Q.    Can I get health insurance from CalArts after I graduate?

CalArts does not provide health insurance to alumni.  However, as an alumnus/a you can obtain an Alumni Association Affinity card, which provides you with a wide range of benefits, including access to an insurance advisor.  The advisor can assist you with identifying an insurance plan that suits your particular needs.

Q. Can you help me find a job?

The Office of Alumni Relations provides numerous resources to alumni looking for support with career development.  In addition to links to a variety of job sites, our web site hosts the CalArts Alumni Job Bank and the Student Affairs Job Bank.

In addition, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Alumni Association host career planning workshops and events throughout the year.

Q. Can you help me fund my artwork?

Our office does not fund individual artists, but we do provide links to grants programs and other opportunities that may help you identify funding for your work. 

Q. How can I promote my work to other alumni?

All alumni can post events on our Interactive Calendar.  Just log in to calarts.alumsys.org to let other Calartians know about your exhibits, concerts, screenings or events.

Q. Sometimes, I learn about alumni events after-the-fact.  How can I find out about what’s happening?

We email alumni regularly to share information on alumni events, programs and opportunities.  Please update your information to let us know how to reach you.
