Bill Eckert

Bill Eckert is a Los Angeles-based artist. He has worked as a muralist, architectural project manager and lecturer in both the U.S. and Europe. Eckert has also been an adjunct associate professor of art at Otis College of Art and Design, specializing in life drawing. He has also lectured in Otis' European programs based in Paris and London. Additionally, Eckert is project manager for the Anomaly Factory, an ambitious architectural fantasy in the Hollywood Hills. This residence is owned by Entertec president, Dave Cunningham. He is also involved in the ongoing historic restoration of the Green Acres estate in Beverly Hills. Eckert has prepared the mural for visits by President Clinton and President Carter. This residence is now owned by Yucaipa Corp. President Ron Burkle. Eckert's public art projects, some done with Jack Beal or Alan Sonneman, include: the Department of Labor Murals, Washington, D.C.; a series of paintings for the Hilton Hotels in San Francisco and Las Vegas; the Department of Water and Power Mural, Los Angeles; and the Riverside County Courthouse Bill of Rights Mural.
