Kevin Geiger holds a BFA degree in Painting and Sculpture from The Cleveland Institute of Art, and an MFA degree in Media Arts from The Ohio State University's ACCAD program.

Kevin has extensive experience in the Los Angeles effects and animation industry, and has been with Walt Disney Feature Animation for more than a decade. His professional credits include Species , Fantasia/2000 , Dinosaur , Reign Of Fire and Chicken Little , in addition to various development projects. Kevin regularly speaks at venues around the world on the subjects of computer animation and feature film production.

Concurrent with his industry work and his teaching, Kevin Geiger is also President and CEO of Simplistic Pictures, an independent animation company founded by his wife, Moon Seun. At Simplistic Pictures, Kevin has produced the award-winning short film Henry's Garden , with production underway on the animated short My Friend Shadow , and development starting on an animated feature entitled A Green Winter .

Kevin is also Co-founder and Director of The Animation Co-op, a non-profit organization supporting independent animation production, distribution and education.
