Pell Grants

The federal government makes Pell Grants to eligible undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens, eligible non-citizens, or permanent residents who have not yet earned an undergraduate degree. Your award is based on established financial need and it may be used for any educational cost. The amount of your grant will vary depending on your family's income and the institution you attend. The maximum grant at CalArts for 2008/09 was $4,731. You can apply for this grant by completing the FAFSA. There is no application deadline, however we urge you to meet CalArts' priority deadline of March 2.
