Dance

The Dance Collection is designed to provide easy access to Dance related resources that you may need while completing your BFA or MFA degree in Dance. These include books, periodicals, films and slides.

Book and Periodical Collection

The Dance Collection is designed Books on dance and dancers can be found in the GV section of the library. Dance students also use the costume book collection and these can be found in the GT and TT sections. Subscriptions to dance periodicals and magazines include such titles as Dance Magazine, Dance Research, and Dance Theatre Journal.

Music Collection

For choosing music for your work the library contains recordings, scores and compact discs which may be listened to in the library. Please see Music Collections for details.

Slide Collection

The Dance slides, a collection which identifies major figures and historical movements in the history of dance can be found in Image Services. These slides can be viewed in the library or borrowed for class.

Film Collection

Films on and about dance include modern dance, classical ballet and dance from other cultures. Films, videocassettes, and laserdiscs can be viewed in the library whenever the library is open. Please refer to Film Services for detail.
